As a Recording Artist/Songwriter/Producer...Tara Alexander's career highlights include headlining at Ascona Jazz Festival, Mackinac Island Jazz Fest, Superbowl Saturday Night, Le Meridien Etoile in Paris and many other notable international festivals and venues. Her producer , vocal credits and discography include a host of projects including Harry Connick, Jr.,IMAX Movie, Hurricane on the Bayou, and a multi platinum recording with Rock n Roll's Cinderella.  Tara Alexander is a recipient of the  Community Partnership Grant from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in the area of Media and Documentation for her upcoming book release celebrating the contribution of women in music. As founder of Studio Express, Tara has developed a means to help a new generation gain opportunities to learn more about audio engineering, music production and the limitless possibilities that are available to creatives who dare to dream. Tara is also on the teaching team and focuses on production, music business and songwriting. Tara's community work has been honored in Women's Month on NBC's Today with Hoda and Jenna as she believes in empowering women to impact community.

At Studio Express, our aim is to create a pipeline that gives young creatives an opportunity to make audio engineering and music production an attainable career and business choice.
